Jose Ignacio Garcia Suarez

Principal & Operator

Jose's goal is to aquire and operate a single great business to preserve and grow its legacy.

Jose began his post college career at American Realty Advisors, a leading real estate private equity firm based out of Los Angeles. He supported and led investment analysis for real estate investments across the United States.

He was admitted to Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2021. While at business school, Jose focused his curriculum on entreprenurial ventures and organizational leadership. He earned his MBA in 2023.

Upon graduating, Jose won a selective one year fellowship at Stanford. During that year, he interviewed CEOs at top performing firms and published 10+ studies covering strategic growth of small, mid-size, and large businesses including Tesla, Instacart, Netafim, and PayJoy. He was also mentored by leading CEOs like Irv Grousbeck and many more.

He spent most of his time in college either swimming with Harvard's Club Swim Team or leading Harvard Dorm Crew, an organization that provides cleaning services for students. His favorite swimming event was the butterfly stroke that was a part of medley relays. Through swim, he saw the value of specialization and teamwork. At Dorm Crew, Jose grew his appreciation for manual labor and honed his project management skills.

Jose was born in Mexico and immigrated to the United States with his family when he was a child. He grew up in Los Angeles where he spent his high school summers volunteering in hospitals. Because many patients only spoke Spanish, Jose would translate, which which showed him the value of tailored service.

When Jose was in high school, Jose won a full-ride scholarship from Goldman Sach's CEO, Lloyd Blankfein, to attend Harvard University. He moved to Cambridge the subsequent year. After buying his first winter coat, a pair of snow boots, and two suit cases, he bravely moved by himself to the east coast for the first time. Jose completed his Bachelor’s Degree in English at Harvard University.

Outside of work, Jose enjoys attending mass, working out at CrossFit gyms, and spending time with his father, mother, three sisters, mentors, friends, and girlfriend, Jocelyne. He loves to cheer on the Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers.

At heart, Jose is a nerd. He loves to dive deep into all kinds of subjects. In his free time, you can often find him listening to audiobooks while he jumps rope.
